Fruit Skins are not a Waste


We live in a tropical country which is enriched with many kinds of vegetabled and fruits. Not only do the fruits keep us healthy, its skins also have a wide range of uses.









Banana

Clean the banana skin and rub it on your hands,elbows,ankles and legs. It will keep your skin soft, supple and moisturized. You can use the banana skin to polish the shoes as well.










Durian

Sun-dried durian skins can be used as a fuel. In addition, when your hand or mouth smells of durian, you can get rid of the smells with water soaked with the durian skin.











Pomelo
Pomelo skin can be preserved in sugar and eaten as a preserved fruit.The skin helps relieve dizziness. Moreover, we can use the pomelo skin to scrub and polish aluminum kitchen utensils. Chop the skin into little pieces and boil them for 20 minutes.Polish with soap.Then you’ll get a shiny and sparking kitchenware.








Pineapple

Leave the pineapple skin in water. Soak the brass/silverware overnight and clean them with water. Your brass/silverware will look brand new again.










Orange

Light the sun-dried orange skins to keep off the mosquitoes.













Watermelon

The green watermelon skin is one good ingredient in tamarind soup. The watermelon skin can be mixed in various kinds of Thai spicy soup and used as vegetable.
